Teaching
I've enjoyed teaching since I was an undergrad teaching assistant at the University of Strathclyde!
I have been a Teaching Assistant for Kinetics, Heat and Mass Transport, and Chemical Engineering Labs.
I have had the opportunity to give multiple lectures in Transport Phenomena and Nanoengineering.
The photo is a shoutout to the time Amber Pete and I won Outstanding TA awards!
Mentoring
I am lucky to work with outstanding undergraduate researchers in the lab. These include Aubry Hymel, Ruby Roberg, Olivia Arcemont, and Emma Joslin from the LSU ChemE Department. I have also had the pleasure to work with Anton Michel from TU Berlin who joined us thanks funding earned from the German Academic Exchange Service.
The photo shows Aubry and I in the lab!
Outreach
I volunteer regularly with LSU ENGage to showcase some exciting new colloid science to middle and high-schoolers in the Baton Rouge area.
My goal is to spark enthusiasm about STEM in young people and ensure they take advantage of opportunities available from public library events to summer internships.

SciComm
I like to write about science and the scientific endeavor at large. Here are some small pieces I wrote for Science NextGen Voices related to the COVID-19 pandemic:
1. News from a postpandemic world
4. The future of scientific societies
5. Succinct discoveries that inspire
